Alexander Dukalskis and Laura Taylor plan to defend their dissertations in political science (Alex), psychology (Laura), and peace studies in spring 2013. Dukalskis and Taylor will be the first graduates of the Kroc Institute's Ph.D. Program in Peace Studies, which was established in 2008.

Mullen Family Gift Builds Next Generation of Peace Scholars

A family with many Notre Dame graduates who are committed to peace has made a campaign gift that will help launch a new Ph.D. program in peace studies. The John R. and Diane Mullen Family Endowment will provide ongoing support for two Ph.D. fellowships at the Kroc Institute.
