Fourteen second-year peace studies students will spend six months working for leading peace and justice groups in Israel/Palestine, the Philippines, South Africa, Uganda, Bhutan, and the United States.
Four peace studies master’s students recently conducted field research in Nicaragua, the Philippines, Rwanda, and Sierra Leone alongside Notre Dame MBA and law students.

Sixteen students from 10 countries recently arrived at the Kroc Institute to pursue master’s degrees in international peace studies. The class of 2014 brings academic interests and professional experiences related to peace, conflict resolution, gender-based violence, development, language and the arts, law, and human rights.

Peace studies master's students joined their MBA and law school classmates in field visits to Guatemala, Egypt, Ethiopia, and Mindanao in the Philippines.

Classes begin this week at Notre Dame, with peace studies undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral students enrolled in more than 50 peace-related courses.
