  • Published a new article in the journal Contemporary Security Policy revives and develops a dormant scholarly view of international mediation as “mediation-bargaining”. This perspective differs from the standard conception of mediation, the essence of which is that mediators facilitate bargaining between the conflict parties. By contrast, the mediation-bargaining model holds that mediators also bargain with the parties.
