Afghanistan’s Social and Political Movements Since the Fall of Kabul
August 15, 2023 marks the second anniversary of the fall of Afghanistan to the Taliban. Since then, many groups from Afghanistan have formed or significantly reformed social and political movements inside and outside the country.
This panel of experts will analyze the activities, demands, and future of these movements, and the Taliban regime’s response to them. Panelists will also offer proposals about how these movements can gain strength and how the international community can partner with them.
This event will be presented in Dari and Pashtu languages with simultaneous English translation.
