Kroc to Recognize Graduating Students

The Kroc Institute will recognize Notre Dame’s peace studies class of 2009 —18 master’s students and 80 undergraduates — during commencement weekend events.

The peace studies undergraduate ceremony will be held from 6-7 p.m. on Friday, May 15, in the McKenna Hall auditorium.  A reception  will follow in the McKenna Hall atrium.

The peace studies master’s student ceremony will be held from 2-4 p.m. on Saturday, May 16, in the Hesburgh Center auditorium. It will be followed by a reception in the Great Hall. 

Rev. Theodore M. Hesburgh, C.S.C., president emeritus of Notre Dame and founder of the Kroc Institute, and Kroc faculty and staff will address the graduates. 

Family and friends of the students are welcome to attend these events.
