Ernesto Verdeja, an associate professor in the Department of Political Science and the Kroc Institute for International Peace Studies, will receive the 2018 Sheedy Excellence in Teaching Award.

In July, 16 second-year Keough School Master of Global Affairs (MGA) students departed for internships with partner organizations in Baltimore, Maryland; Bogotá, Colombia; Nairobi, Kenya; Seattle, Washington; South Bend, Indiana; and Washington, D.C.

Six new students in four disciplines recently began the Kroc Institute’s interdisciplinary doctoral program in peace studies. The program is a partnership with the University of Notre Dame Departments of Anthropology, History, Political Science, Sociology, Psychology, and Theology.
