Carolina Serrano Idrovo

Carolina Serrano Idrovo helps manage operations for the Peace Accords Matrix, overseeing project grants and policy engagement. She also provides research and technical support for the Colombia Barometer Initiative.

Serrano Idrovo is a 2017 graduate of the Kroc Institute’s M.A. in International Peace Studies, where she specialized in public policy and conflict analysis and transformation. As part of her studies, she supported the grassroots organization Sembrandopaz on the Colombian Caribbean coast, focusing on political empowerment and community-building initiatives.

Prior to joining the University of Notre Dame, Serrano Idrovo was a researcher for the Colombian think tank Fundación Ideas para la Paz and the International Organization for Migration in Bogotá, where she focused on the reintegration of former combatants. She holds a B.A. in Political Science and a Specialization in Social Evaluation of Projects from Universidad de los Andes.
