Kroc Institute Strategic Peacebuilding Academy
The Kroc Institute Strategic Peacebuilding Academy is an annual, thematic, multi-day intensive experience for peace practitioners, scholars, and those working in policy communities around the globe. The program offers:
Skills building: Sessions intentionally integrate peace research, policy, and practice, and are designed so that participants build relevant skills for their work.
Best practices: Attendees learn and share best practices, field research, and emerging trends for the advancement of sustainable peace applicable to their work environments.
Networking: The Academy fosters a sense of community as participants develop professionally and build relationships across sectors of peacebuilding, here and abroad.
The Academy also provides peacebuilders with space – common space for building community, and productive space for reflection and practice. This aligns with the Kroc Institute’s belief in the importance of in-person convening and experiential learning.
2027 Application Process:
Each year, we seek a mix of participants who ideally are mid-career, and in peacebuilding fields and sectors that touch on the year’s topic or theme. Click here to learn more about the 2027 program and application process.
