Making a Difference Through Volunteering and Nonprofit Careers: This website provides an overview of volunteering options and careers in the nonprofit sector, as well as tips on starting a career with a nonprofit organization. 

My World Abroad provides extensive resources to support global career skills, both while in school and while looking for work.  Free tools and advice are available as well as subscription access to over 4000 searchable resources and 300 expert articles.

PCDN Global (the Peace and Collaborative Development Network) is a free professional networking site to foster dialogue and sharing of resources in support of social change careers. It offers a Meta Job List of job sites and resources and a Career Series with job seeking tips and info about graduate programs and fellowships.

80,000 Hours is a nonprofit which provides research and support to help people switch into careers that effectively tackle the world’s most pressing problems. The site analyzes global problems where work can have the greatest impact and provides a job board for global opportunities.

Global Jobs lists opportunities for global professionals with NGO's, think tanks, government and private sector.  Email alerts can be set up on their site.

Chegg Internships provides access to more than 75K internship opportunities as well as guidance to help find the right internship, and resources from cover letters to interview tips.

Current Notre Dame students will find multiple resources on the websites of Undergraduate Career Services or Graduate Career Services, including internship and full-time opportunities posted by nearly 70 public policy organizations in Washington, D.C.

The Alliance for Peacebuilding includes a Peacebuilding Jobs Board.

Beyond Intractability and CRInfo have compiled a knowledge base on Careers and Funding in the field of Peace and Conflict Resolution.

DM&E for Peace, a global community of practitioners, evaluators and academics, compiles job opportunities in the design, monitoring and evaluation of peacebuilding programs

Peace and Justice Studies Association, a nonprofit organization of academics, teachers and activists in peace, conflict and justice studies, lists jobs on its resources page. The site also directs users to helpful search tip pages.

Scoville Peace Fellowships provides funding for college graduates to intern at non-profit, public interest organizations addressing peace and security issues in Washington, D.C.

Search for Common Ground works to help conflicting parties understand their differences and act on their commonalities in 34 countries.

SIPRI, the Stockholm International Peace Research Institute, lists employment and internships opportunities especially in arms control and disarmament.

The United States Institute of Peace (USIP) is the independent, nonpartisan conflict management center created by the US Congress to prevent and mitigate international conflict without resorting to violence.  USIP is not a government agency. Career opportunities in multiple countries are listed.

Human Rights

Catholic Relief Services offers a list of employment opportunities searchable by location and department. 

Chemonics International, Inc. offers positions spanning five continents and all sectors of international development.

Directory of Development Organizations provides contact information for organizations by region worldwide.

Devex hosts "the world's leading global development jobs board," including more than 2,000 humanitarian, health and sustainability openings.

DevNetJobs posts international development jobs and consultancies, including opportunities in international NGOs, UN, funding, bilateral and multilateral agencies, foundations, non-profits, charities, consultancies, and government institutions.

Eldis, maintained by the Institute of Development Studies at the University of Sussex (England) lists opportunities with organizations focused on economic development.

InterAction, an umbrella organization for international humanitarian and development organizations, lists jobs for its more than 160 members. InterAction also publishes Monday Developments, a bimonthly newsletter containing many job ads.

The Posner Center for International Development ​in Denver, Colorado hosts over 60 member organizations working in international development.

ReliefWeb, published by the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs, lists hundreds of current humanitarian vacancies around the world.

Philanthropy Careers is the job section of The Chronicle of Philanthropy, listing opportunities in fundraising, grant-making, and nonprofit management. Early Career Opportunities, a special section of the site, lists jobs that require less than three years of experience.
