Madhav Joshi is Research Assistant Professor and Associate Director of the Peace Accords Matrix (PAM) at the Kroc Institute. The PAM provides reliable and comparable online data on more than 30 recent peace accords and their implementation. Users can track and compare particular themes across peace accords as well as how provisions in the accords were implemented in the post-accord phase.
Joshi earned his Ph.D. from University of North Texas in May 2010. His research focuses on civil wars, post-civil war transition and survival of democracy, post-civil war peacebuilding, the role of third parties in the conflict process, and the Maoist insurgency in Nepal. His articles have appeared in International Studies Quarterly, Social Science Quarterly, Democratization, the Journal of Peace Research, and Asian Survey.
