Laurel Quinn directs operations and policy outreach for the Peace Accords Matrix and Colombia Barometer Initiative at the Kroc Institute. She oversees grant programming for the Peace Accords Matrix, and she leads policy outreach and dissemination of the project’s findings through presentations and briefings with U.S.-based policy communities. She is co-editor of the volume Civil Society, Peace, and Power (Rowman & Littlefield, 2016).

Laurel joined the Kroc Institute in 2014 as a research associate, and most recently held the role of Assistant Director of Policy Studies for the Policy Studies Program. She has worked with several nonprofit organizations focused on policy analysis, human security, and humanitarian aid. Laurel earned a master's degree from the Seton Hall School of Diplomacy and International Relations, where she specialized in conflict resolution and international security. Her graduate thesis analyzed the role of women in peace agreements, with excerpts published in The Guardian and a policy report by the International Peace Institute. She earned a bachelor’s degree in international relations and a minor in public policy from Indiana Wesleyan University.
