These Kroc Institute signature events take place annually:
- Each fall, the Yoder Dialogues on Nonviolence, Religion and Peace, named in honor of John Howard Yoder, a profoundly influential theologian at Notre Dame from 1968-1997 and a founding fellow of the Kroc Institute.
- Each spring, the Hesburgh Lectures in Ethics and Public Policy, named in honor of the Rev. Theodore M. Hesburgh, C.S.C., president emeritus of Notre Dame and founder of the Kroc Institute.
- Each spring, the Student Peace Conference, planned and organized entirely by peace studies undergraduates.
- Each summer, the Summer Institute for Faculty in Peace Studies Program Development, designed for faculty from around the country who are developing classes and building peace studies programs.
