Peace Studies & Theology

Colleen Cross (peace studies and theology) earned an M.T.S. in systematic theology from the University of Notre Dame and a B.A. in religious studies and classics from the University of Arizona. She has worked for Notre Dame’s Institute for Latino Studies, coordinating its Immigration Initiative.
Colleen studies how a renewed theological vision of the human person, read from the context of violence and war, can facilitate reconciliation, healing and empowerment among migrants, refugees, and trafficked persons. She is particularly interested in frameworks related to human flourishing and human transformation. She is a 2016-2017 Mullen Family Fellow.
