Laurie Nathan, director of the Mediation Program at the Kroc Institute, part of the Keough School of Global Affairs, was the lead trainer at the annual United Nations High Level Mediation Course held in Glion, Switzerland in June. Convened by the UN Mediation Support Unit in partnership with the Swiss government, the course offers senior officials from the UN and other peacemaking organizations an opportunity to deepen their knowledge and skills in mediation.
This year’s course enrolled 22 participants. Nathan has designed and taught the course for the past 10 years.
