"Upside-Down Love": A Conversation with Sari Bashi
What can lovers do in a world that forbids their love, constricts their freedom, and endangers them with security measures?
Join the Kroc Institute for a conversation with Israeli-American human rights lawyer, writer, and blogger Sari Bashi about her new book, "Upside-Down Love," a powerful, dual-perspective memoir about an improbable romance across the Israeli-Palestinian divide.
As part of the discussion, Bashi will describe her work defending survivors of torture and her vision of a shared life in Israel-Palestine.
Notre Dame students interested in reading a copy of the book in advance of this lecture can request a free copy here. A limited number of free copies are available for students only; first come, first-served.
The conversation will be moderated by Atalia Omer, professor of Religion, Conflict and Peace Studies.
