The UN Assistance Mission in Afghanistan (UNAMA) received a strong mandate in March 2022 to coordinate and facilitate humanitarian aid, advance human rights, promote responsible governance and the rule of law, and facilitate dialogue between Afghan political actors and stakeholders, the region, and the wider international community. How has it implemented this mandate? What has it achieved? What have been the main challenges and obstacles? And what adjustments should be made to the mandate when it is renewed

This webinar assesses UNAMA’s achievements and challenges in the course of the past year and offers recommendations for its upcoming mandate for 2023.
