The Final Colombian Peace Agreement is one of the most comprehensive and innovative peace agreements in the world, in part because it includes an ethnic chapter which addresses the historical, structural, and disproportionate victimization that ethnic communities have suffered during the country’s armed conflict, and seeks to safeguard human rights and protections for these communities.
The Colombian Peace Agreement gives the Kroc Institute primary responsibility for technical support and monitoring of implementation of the accord through the Peace Accords Matrix (PAM) Barometer Initiative. Join us for the virtual public launch of our first report on the status of implementation of the ethnic approach, and get a first look at independently-verified information on developments in implementation and the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead.
The event will take place in Spanish, with translation into English available.

El Acuerdo Final de Paz de Colombia es uno de los acuerdos de paz más comprensivos e innovadores del mundo, en parte porque incluye un capítulo étnico que reconoce la victimización histórica, estructural y desproporcionada que han sufrido las comunidades étnicas durante el conflicto armado en el país, y porque busca salvaguardar los derechos humanos y la protección de estos pueblos.
El Acuerdo Final otorga al Instituto Kroc el mandato de brindar apoyo técnico para el seguimiento y la verificación a la implementación del Acuerdo a través de la Iniciativa Barómetro de la Matriz de Acuerdos de Paz (PAM). Únase a nosotros para participar en el lanzamiento público virtual de nuestro primer informe sobre el estado de implementación del enfoque étnico. Durante el lanzamiento podrá recibir información verificada de forma independiente sobre los avances en la implementación y los desafíos y oportunidades que se avecinan.
