Creative Represencing

"The Creative Represencing Native American Symposium is a series of events aimed at bringing visibility to Native American and Indigenous presence and acts of contemporary politics, particularly around visibility, creativity, and represencing. The combination of a methods workshop, campus Native history walk, academic panels, and an evening of poetry and music will engage the Notre Dame community in thinking more deeply about Indigenous presence and acts of community revitalization.

Schedule: 

9-10:30 a.m.: Methods and Muffins (C103, Hesburgh Center for International Studies) 

10:30-11:30 a.m.: Native Campus Walk (Lobby, Hesburgh Center for International Studies)

1-2:30 p.m.: Creative Represencing Panel 1 (Auditorium, Hesburgh Center for International Studies) 

2:30-4:00 p.m.: Creative Represencing Panel 2 (Auditorium, Hesburgh Center for International Studies) 

6:30-7:30 p.m.: Poetry and Music (Hagerty Cafe, Duncan Center)
