Myla Leguro is the Peace and Reconciliation Program Manager for Catholic Relief Services in Davao City, the Philippines, where she oversees the internationally acclaimed Mindanao Peacebuilding Institute. She was a nominee for the Nobel Peace Prize in 2005. During her time at the Kroc Institute, she will document the peacebuilding experiences of Mindanao, utilizing the main components of the CRS peace program: peace education, interreligious dialogue, zones of peace/spaces for peace, and civil society peace advocacy work.

The Kroc/CRS Visiting Fellowship was established in 2005 to provide practitioners of peacebuilding an opportunity for reflection and writing away from the daily demands of their work, and in the community of the faculty of the Kroc Institute.
