The Kroc Institute is accepting applications from students for its graduate programs in peace studies that begin in fall 2010.
Kroc’s master's program prepares students for careers as professional peacebuilders, including positions in government and nongovernmental organizations, conflict transformation, policy analysis, and political and social change. Students come from around the world and many cultural and religious backgrounds, bringing with them strong academic records and work experience related to peace and justice. Kroc’s Ph.D. program trains scholars in interdisciplinary peace research and history, political science, psychology, and sociology. Students apply for admission in one of these four areas. Graduates are prepared for research and teaching positions that contribute to solving the global challenges of violent conflict and peace.
