Graduate students and early career faculty focusing on peace and conflict are invited to submit proposals for the inaugural Notre Dame Young Scholars Peace Conference, to takes place November 6-7, 2015.
The recently published Oxford Handbook of Religion, Conflict, and Peacebuilding, edited by Atalia Omer, Scott Appleby, and David Little, provides a comprehensive scholarly account of the role of religion in contributing to conflict and fostering peace.
Sidney Tarrow, Emeritus Maxwell M. Upson Professor of Government at Cornell University, will discuss "Seeking Peace in Wartime; Opposing War in Peacetime" on April 30.
