“Syria Matters” Whiteboard Photo Campaign

Show your support for Syria by telling the world why Syria matters. You can write your message on a whiteboard and get your photo taken. Pictures will be posted on Facebook & there will be free hot chocolate!

Documentary + Discussion with Syrians

7 – 8:30 p.m.
LaFortune Ballroom

A screening of a short documentary about Syria will be followed by a discussion with a Syrian student on campus and a Skype call with Syrians currently in Aleppo. Free authentic Syrian food will be served!

Prayer Service

5:30 – 6:15 p.m.
Grotto

Join us as we pray for an end to the violence in Syria. The service will also include a prayer said in Arabic, as well as reflections on the current conflict.

Thursday, November 17

AcoustiCafé Concert

10 – 11 p.m.
LaFortune Basement

Music and poetry by Notre Dame and Syrian students will accompany a typical Acousticafé lineup. Any collected donations will support emergency responders in Syria.
