Peace: A History of Movements & Ideas offers a history of the human striving for peace and an analysis of its religious and intellectual roots. The Rev. Theodore M. Hesburgh, CSC, president emeritus of Notre Dame, has called the book “a crowning achievement by a distinguished scholar and social activist.”
