Jennifer Betz is the assistant director of the international peace studies concentration, in the Master of Global Affairs program of the Keough School. Her focus is encouraging the reflective practice of the master’s students as they explore their vocations in peacebuilding through student advising, coursework and practice. She facilitates and oversees the peacebuilding opportunities for the master’s students through their six-month internships. Betz also strengthens connections with local and campus entities focused on justice and peace.

Betz graduated from the Kroc Institute's Master's Program in 2008. As a student, she interned with Catholic Relief Services in Cambodia. Betz was selected as a Catholic Relief Services 2010 International Development Fellow and worked with the agency in Honduras, Haiti, Guatemala, and the U.S. before returning to work at Notre Dame. She also has served in Chile, Mexico, and worked with migrant communities in the United States. She currently is involved with local environmental and racial justice initiatives in South Bend. She is a 2002 Notre Dame graduate.
