Joan Fallon develops and implements communications strategy for the Kroc Institute. She is responsible for print, electronic, and Web-based communications as well as media and public relations.

Fallon joined the Kroc Institute in 2007 after a nearly 20-year career with Lipman Hearne in Chicago, one of the nation’s leading communications firms serving higher education and other nonprofit organizations. Her clients included Brown University, the University of Chicago, and the MacArthur Foundation. She earned a B.J. degree in Journalism and a B.A. degree in Spanish at the University of Missouri-Columbia and an M.A. in Latin American and Caribbean Studies at the University of Chicago.
