Andrew Weigert (Ph.D. University of Minnesota, 1968) is interested in religion, theory, environment, and modern identity issues. He has authored or co-authored over 50 scholarly pieces and nine books, the most recent being Religion and Secular Views on Endtime. 2004, Mellen Press). He is continuing work on contemporary identity issues. He has won three Kaneb Awards for undergraduate teaching, and a 2002 Sheedy Award for teaching excellence from the College of Arts and Letters. His avocations include prairie restoration. He has been a Fellow of the Kroc Institute since 1991.
