Caesar A. Montevecchio provides administrative and research support to the Catholic Peacebuilding Network (CPN).

Montevecchio has a bachelor’s degree from Georgetown University, where he studied theology and psychology, and a Master of Theological Studies degree from Harvard Divinity School. He received his Ph.D. in Systematic Theology at Duquesne University, where his dissertation research focused on ways in which Catholic tradition can be more open and responsive to global diversity and pluralism.

Prior to joining CPN, Montevecchio was an instructor of Religious Studies at Mercyhurst University in Erie, Pennsylvania. He developed curriculum dealing with the Catholic imagination, religion and film, Catholic Social Teaching, and Catholicism and Globalization.  Prior to teaching collegiately, Montevecchio taught at the secondary level, including time with the Cristo Rey Network of Catholic High Schools, a model of preparatory schools serving underrepresented urban youth.
