Friday, December 7
7 p.m. & 10 p.m. showings
Browning Cinema, DeBartolo Performing Arts Center (DPAC)
In this film, you will meet 25-year-old Tomas Young, paralyzed from a bullet to his spine — wounded after serving in Iraq for less than a week. Body of War is his coming home story as he evolves into a new person, dealing with his disability and finding his own unique and passionate voice against the war. Body of War is a nakedly honest portrayal of what it’s like inside the body, heart and soul of this extraordinary and heroic young man.
Body of War has been called “Riveting” by Roger Friedman of Fox News and “Superb . . . almost unbearably moving” by Richard Corliss of TIME magazine.

Phil Donahue, former talk-show host and Notre Dame ('57) graduate, introduced the film and was available to answer questions following the 7 p.m. showing, as well as at a reception held between the 7 & 10 p.m. events.
