This edited volume emerged from a conference on reconciliation
sponsored by the Templeton Foundation. The book chapters
cover a wide array of approaches and understandings of reconciliation.
Lederach's chapter provides a practitioner's view of attitudes
and approaches for supporting reconciliation that have proven
useful. He cau-tions against reducing reconciliation to a
formula or technique-based methodology.
