Celia Cook Huffman
is professor of peace studies at Juniata College (Huntingdon, Pennsylvania), where she also serves as associate director of the Baker Institute for Peace and Conflict Studies and directs Baker Mediation Services. Celia earned her Ph.D. in Social Conflict Theory from Syracuse University.   Email: <cookhu@juniata.edu> (5/04)

Sarah Gillam is a freelance writer and editor, specialising in health issues and e-learning. She is a keen cyclist and a textile artist, and is now attending art school so she can teach art. Lou Nanni is vice president for university relations at the University of Notre Dame. In this capacity he directs the University's development operations, the Notre Dame Alumni Association, and the offices of special events and international advancement.  Prior to this appointment Lou served one year as vice president for public affairs and communication at Notre Dame and eight years as director of South Bend's Center for the Homeless, which he established as a national model in addressing the complex issues of homelessness.  Email: <Lou.Nanni.3@nd.edu> (5/04)

Lynne Woehrle is associate professor of sociology at Mount Mary College, a Catholic women's college in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.  In December 2003 she published an article entitled "Contesting Patriotism" in Peace Review.  She previously taught at Wilson College for five years.  She earned her PhD in social science from Syracuse University in 1995 with a dissertation entitled The Staff of Life: Women Baking for Social Change.  Email: <woehrlel@mtmary.edu> (5/04)
