Senior Rank - Peace Studies (faculty)

The Kroc Institute for International Peace Studies at the University of Notre Dame invites applications for a senior appointment in Peace Studies. In this search, conducted jointly with the Department of Political Science, the Kroc Institute seeks a highly productive and visible scholar-teacher in the peace research field. Full professor candidates must have a sustained record of excellence in research and teaching. Associate professor candidates must show a level of excellence in research and teaching that would soon merit promotion to full professor.

The ideal candidate would have a research profile in the area of international norms and institutions for peace, justice and human rights. Specialties in international law or ethics; strategic peacebuilding and peacekeeping; global governance concerns, including the United Nations, the International Criminal Court, etc. are welcome. Secondary but important areas include methods of peace research, gender and peace, and peace education pedagogy.
