Policy Studies

At the Kroc Institute, we are convinced that peace studies should matter to the world of policy and that policy should be integral to peace studies. We define policy broadly to include the institute’s critical assessment of pressing issues, as well as its engagement with institutions that are involved in policy-relevant peacebuilding at the local, national, and international levels. For more information, read “Policy Studies: A critical dimension of peacebuilding” by Director of Policy Studies Gerard F. Powers.

Policy briefs

Based on pioneering research by peace experts at the Kroc Institute and their affiliates, policy briefs analyze current issues in international affairs and propose innovative strategies for peace.
