Joséphine Lechartre
Peace Studies & Political Science
Joséphine Lechartre (peace studies and political science) received her B.A. and M.A. Cum Laude from the Institut d’Etudes Politiques de Paris (Sciences Po Paris) in 2018. Throughout the course of her studies, she spent one year at the Universidade Estadual de Campinas (UNICAMP) in Brazil.
Joséphine’s research agenda explores the legacies of violent conflict on social movement formation. Her doctoral dissertation investigates indigenous political participation in post-conflict Guatemala.
Joséphine is a Richard and Peggy Notebaert Fellow; and was previously awarded the 2018-19 Darby Fellowship.
